About Us:

Danni’s New Orleans Eatery, is family owned and operated. Danni and her family are all native to New Orleans, LA, and were displaced and relocated to DFW due to hurricane Katrina in August 2005. Since then, we have lived in a couple cities in DFW area.

As a young girl I started making pralines and learned to cook most New Orleans dishes and foods from my late grandmother, Rosemary C. Morrison and mother, Ann Miller.

My mother has been and still is my main source of inspiration for our Gumbo and all desserts on our menu. Danni prepares, create and cook ALL remaining menu items herself along with our cook's assistant, Leonard Miller. We create and test all food on the menu as a family before allowing it on the menu!

August 2017, we started with a small menu. Which included homemade po’boy sandwiches, shrimp etouffee’, seafood, red beans, macaroni -n- cheese, dirty rice, jambalaya, chicken, pork chops and corn bread. Now it has become a fine-dining restaurant with numerous New Orleans style dishes, foods, desserts and drinks. To top it off, our scenery is uniquely New Orleans.

Our Goals & Mission is to become the Premier restaurant for authentic Creole foods and dishes, New Orleans Style in the entire DFW area.

Our Family enjoys serving its regular customers, tourists, and locals. We love the fact and idea of bringing New Orleans, Louisiana to Sherman, Texas. Now in 2018, we are striving to become the most gathered place for all to eat, drink as well as have great fun!
